I was raised in the mountains of Jackson Hole, Wyoming, a small town surrounded by beauty, but isolated from major towns and cities by mountain passes, rivers, and hundreds of miles. Being raised remotely from the urban world has piqued my curiosity in the urban environment and allows me to make unique observations one may fail to recognize. I know my background influences my every curiosity, decision, thought, and action within the world of design. I approach it all from an outsider’s perspective, yet with an air of familiarity. My perspective grants me the ability to make the “new,” and to avoid falling into the trap of the “already done.”
